These terms apply when you buy a Motto Box from this website. Please read them before you order. Last updated: 26 October 2026.
1. Who we are
Motto Box is sold by Plus Forwarding LTD, Lions Bldg Yotsubashi 702, 1-7-22 Shinmachi, Nishi-ku, Osaka 550-0013, Japan. You can contact us at ruby@motto-box.jp.
2. Ordering
When you place an order, we’ll email you to confirm we’ve received it. Your contract with us starts when we send that confirmation. Launch Edition boxes are limited, so if we can’t fill your order for any reason, we’ll let you know and refund you in full.
3. Prices and payment
Our prices are in Japanese yen (JPY) and include delivery. If your card is in another currency, your bank or card provider will convert the price for you. For orders delivered to the UK, our prices also include VAT. Outside the UK, your country may charge import tax or duty when your box arrives. These charges aren’t included in our price and are paid by you. You pay when you place your order, using the payment methods shown at checkout.
4. What’s in the box
Every Launch Edition box has 6 items: a DIY 3D ramen house kit, a mystery character plushie, a Japanese towel and 3 more surprises. Each box contains one of 11 plushie designs, picked at random, and we can’t take requests for a particular design. If an item runs out, we’ll replace it with something of similar or higher value.
5. Delivery
Every box is posted from Japan by Japan Post tracked airmail. Delivery times depend on where you live, so we can’t promise a delivery date. We’ll email you your tracking number when your box is posted. If your box doesn’t arrive, email us and we’ll look into it. See our Delivery and Returns page for more.
6. Your right to cancel
You have 14 days from the day your box arrives to cancel and return it for a refund. Email us before you send anything, and we’ll tell you where to send your box. You may open your box and inspect the items, but any items with seals or tags must be returned with those seals or tags still attached so they can be resold. You pay the return postage. We’ll refund the full price, including the original delivery, within 14 days of receiving your return.
7. Damaged or faulty items
If anything arrives damaged or faulty, email us with a photo and we’ll replace or refund it. This doesn’t affect your legal rights.
8. Product safety
Motto Box is recommended for ages 14 and above. Some items contain small parts and are not suitable for children under 3 years.
9. Your personal information
We use your details only to process and deliver your order and to contact you about it. See our Privacy Policy.
10. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. If you’re buying as a consumer, you also keep the protection of the consumer laws of the country where you live, and nothing in these terms takes those rights away.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you place your order is the one that applies to it.
